Extraordinary African Cuisine!
Tonight the group had dinner at this famous Exotic African Restaurant- Gramadoelas. Not only was the food incredible, but the decor was outstanding! The host is so gracious and the food absolutely sumptuous. Some of the items on this very extensive buffet included "Mosonja" Mopani Worms in a peri and onion sauce (and yes- several of us tried them and have the photos to prove it!), Bobotie (a spiced beef with egg custard topping, "Umngqusho " Samp (dried corn and beans), "Moroho" wild spinach, Snoekpaai (a cape fish pie), mussels in garlic cream sauce, Ostrich casserole cooked in red wine with olives and mushrooms, baked pumpkin soiced with cinnamon, and more, and more, and more...and the wine flowed and the desserts were delectable.
