Don't feed the baboons and watch out for the cobra!
Baboons are common in Cape Point and can be quite a nuisance. They have been known to grab women's purses and empty them out looking for food! You can see them along the road side. There are warning signs to not feed the baboons- it is against the law. There was a slo a warning sign for the resident cobra living near the visitor's center by the funicula up to Cape Point lighthouse.
